Can I bring a digital camera to the library?
You are encouraged to bring your digital camera or camera enabled phone to use in the Reading Room. Use of scanning apps on mobile devices is allowed. Please note: Flat-bed and pen scanners are not permitted. Before taking photographs, you will be asked to sign our camera use policy. When taking photographs, we will ask you to display a template at the bottom of each image you take. You must disable the flash and any sound that the camera makes. If policy dictates that a collection cannot be photocopied, it cannot be photographed. No copystands or tripods are permitted. Any item photographed must be for study purposes only. The library has a digital camera that can be borrowed to use in the Reading Room on a first come/first served basis. Please see our digital camera policy.
