Yes, the Schlesinger Library offers a scanning service. Scans are for personal research use only, and may be requested by completing the form linked below. 
Policies
  • Page limits: For remote requests, readers may order up to 150 pages of scanned documents per calendar year. Larger requests may be considered at staff discretion. For in-person requests, readers may order up to 500 pages of scanned documents per calendar year.

  • Cost & Payment: Scans cost $0.45 per page. We do not accept pre-payment. You will be contacted for payment when your order has been processed. Orders must be paid in full before scans are transmitted.

  • Turnaround: Scan request are completed in the order received. Turnaround is dependent upon the complexity of the order and availability of staff time. Rush orders cannot be accommodated. 

  • Use: These scans are for personal research use only. To request scans for publication, please complete the Publication Order Form
